Up & Up Whitening Wrap Review

The number one question I get both online and in real life pertains to how I get my teeth so white. To be honest, I don’t do anything too special. I have always taken really good care of my teeth, and try to brush them about 3 times a day, but sometimes I find the need for something more. Every once and awhile, I use whitening strips when I can tell my teeth aren’t looking as bright as I would like them to. However, whitening strips can get pricy, so using them consistently has never been an option for me.

Over the Summer, I wanted to give my teeth a little extra TLC, but didn’t want to pay 35 dollars for the Crest White Strips I had always used. I decided to not be the brand snob that I normally am, and do a little trial for you guys. Boy, am I lucky that I did! Today I will be reviewing the whitening strips from the Target brand that are under 15 dollars. I hope you enjoy!

I used the Splendid White Whitening Wraps by Up&Up two different times this summer in two different ways. During my first trial, I used the product as directed. I wore the strips for thirty minutes each day for 7 days. During my second trial, I used the product every so often for 30 minutes. My goal with this was to see if I had to use the product consecutively to see a result. I also wanted to see if these were comparable to the Crest White Strips. I was pleased with my results.

The package suggests that you will see results in three days, but I definitely was able to see a slight difference after one. Although my teeth turned whiter quicker when I used the strips for a consecutive 7 days, I also would notice a difference after just one use when I was using the strips every so often. This could just be in my head, and could even vary based on people’s teeth, but I was satisfied with my results. My advice for usage is this : if you have an upcoming event, wear the strips for the consecutive 7 days, if you just want your teeth to become whiter, do this over time.

The strips themselves are very thin, and stick to the teeth pretty well. I will say that the Crest White Strips are a bit stickier, but that is not something that I consider to harshly. I was still able to talk with these on, which is pretty impressive if you ask me, and 30 minutes is not a long time at all! The strips also  fit my mouth very comfortably, and did not irritate my gums or cause my teeth to be sensitive.

Overall, I would say that these whitening strips are just as good as the Crest ones. They gave me the same results, and are a good 20 dollars cheaper. The version I have is not online, but if you go to the store, look for the grey box. I believe they were only 11 dollars at my Target, but Target offers several different versions of this product.
