If you haven’t heard already, I am officially moved into school for the semester! YAY! I flew down with my parents on Saturday, and we moved my stuff in on Sunday! This week has been busy, but I am having so much fun already. Before I moved in, I took some pictures in this GORGEOUS romper I bought from Thirty One Boutique. I think this is the perfect romper to wear for a night out with the girls, or in my case, at school!
I purchased this item right when it was released. The key to shopping at Thirty One Boutique is definitely following their Instagram to stay updated on their new releases. They seriously have the cutest things, but because they are a smaller company and have so many followers, you need to order immediately when you know you want something. Unfortunately, the romper pictured here is not on the website, but they have so many other adorable rompers to chose from, along with dresses, tops, and accessories.
The romper is a beautiful red color, so I decided to mix it up a little and add a red lip to spice up my outfit! Some people might think this is too matchy- matchy, but I love the look, especially on blondes. The romper, itself, is a lace material with a nude layer underneath. I was worried about the sizing on this, because I didn’t want it to look like a diaper, but also didn’t want to have a camel-toe. I ended up going with a medium, which is what I normally order for dresses, and it fits super well. The middle of the romper by the waist has an adorable little ribbon that can be tied into a bow, which also adds some extra shape to your waist.
Surprisingly, although the back does come down low, it doesn’t make me feel self-conscious. I love being covered up, and rarely show a lot of skin, but this romper shows skin off in all the right places. There is even a button by the cleavage area so you don’t have to pin it to cover up! I paired this romper with my everyday bracelets, and my Tory Burch Black sandals, and was ready to take on the town.
