The Key to Living a Positive Life

“Positivity is a choice, not a personality trait.” For the longest time I didn’t believe this statement. I used to think I was a positive person, and just had bad days. Although this is somewhat true, I started having too many bad days, or I would get caught up on the smallest things and let them ruin my attitude. I now only allow myself to have bad moments, and not bad days.

When something happens that isn’t ideal, I let myself be upset about it for an hour or so, and if I’m still feeling upset after that hour, I will find a way to pull myself out of that mood. Whether its hanging out with friends, working out at the gym, or eating your favorite food, do something that is going to turn your day around so that you have just one bad moment compared to an entire bad day.

With a new school year coming up, I am making it a goal to stay positive and am surrounding myself with a positive environment. By this, I mean that I want to keep a clean room, hang out with positive people, and stay confident in who I am as a person. All of these things will contribute to a healthy life, and a great school year.

Although this post is short, I think this topic is important. The energy you put out into the world attracts other people, so it is essencial that the energy is positive. As always, thank you for following My Loquacity. Comment to let me know what other posts you want to see!

  1. Oh my goodness I love this so much. I discovered the law of attraction a few months ago, and it’s seriously changed my life in to many incredible ways, and in such a short period of time. Positive thinking is SO powderful, and I try to count my blessings and be greatful every single day. It’s also crazy how other people’s energy effects your own. I’ve been making a huge Effort to surround myself with uplifting positive like minded people, and distance my self from toxic and negative ones.
