Grey Ruffle Sweater

There is nothing better than a New England Fall! From The beautiful foliage, to delicious cider donuts, New England is definitely one of the best  places to call home for October Break. Throughout the years, my family has made it a tradition to go apple picking when I visit, and this year was no different. Today, we took a drive to Apple Crest Farm Orchards in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire. We had such a great time, and we happened to catch a few pictures of my outfit along the way!

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

As some of you may have noticed, I have not posted on My Loquacity for the past week. As someone who feels like she should have everything under control all of the time, I have been feeling extremely guilty about this. I love blogging, but as a college student, sometimes life gets in the way. This past week, I had 4 midterms to study for, and I celebrated my 21st birthday. As much as I hated to do it, I gave myself the week off, but promised myself that I was going to create amazing content from there on out.

LUSH Jelly Mask First Impression- Birth Of Venus

Happy Monday, loves! In today’s post, instead of doing a review, where I have used the product for a good period of time, I am doing a “first impression”, where I test the product in question once, and then tell you guys what I think. I want to start doing these a lot more, because they allow me to try out more products, and I can always give updates on future posts if the products don’t end up working like I thought! In this post, I tried out one of the new LUSH Jelly Face Masks, “The Birth of Venus”. Stay tuned to see what I thought! Continue reading LUSH Jelly Mask First Impression- Birth Of Venus

Life Update/ Operation 21

As I’ve mentioned before, this blog is supposed to be a place where I write about everything my friends are sick of hearing me talk about. Today’s post is going to be about my personal life, so if you’re not super into that, keep a look out for Friday’s post instead! Also, if you want to hear about Operation 21, skip to the third paragraph.

Falling for Mint Julep Boutique

The second I announced on My Loquacity that the weather was cooling down in North Carolina, mother nature decided to play a little trick on me and make it 85 degrees every day since. I know that shouldn’t be something to complain about , but it’s officially fall, and just because the weather is warmer, doesn’t mean that I’m going to stop wearing my fall outfits. If I overheat, so be it! Anyway… I bring this up because today I’m sharing another fall outfit with you that I have been dying over. Hopefully, you all will love it as much as I do!  Continue reading Falling for Mint Julep Boutique

Eden Perforated Slip-On Sneaker Review

On a day to day basis, I keep it pretty casual. I am either dressed up in outfits like the ones I share on my blog, or I’m in leggings or jeans paired with a casual tee shirt. This not only explains my lack of outfit posts lately, but also is a great starting point to introduce the shoes that I’ll be talking about today! I wanted a pair of shoes that I could wear on a day to day basis that immediately dressed up my outfits. Although I featured these in an outfit post already, I thought these shoes needed their own post.  Continue reading Eden Perforated Slip-On Sneaker Review

Saint Tropez Classic Bronzing Mousse Review and Tutorial

Happy Monday, Ladies! I hope you all enjoyed your weekends and are ready for another fantastic week! This weekend was my sorority’s bid day, and I got a lot of comments from my friends and sisters about my tan. I have used this product for years and I thought that it was about time to do a review on The Saint Tropez Classic Bronzing Mousse!

Attaining a Positive Body Image

I have an eerily vivid memory of my young self  trying on shorts in The Children’s Place. My family was going on vacation to Disney World with my cousins, and my mom wanted to pick up a few new outfits for my sister and I before we left. I turned to my mother, and told her that my legs were too big for me to be wearing shorts. In this moment, my ignorance to body image was gone.  Continue reading Attaining a Positive Body Image

Becca Backlight Filter Face Primer Review

A few weeks ago, I picked up the Becca Backlight Filter Face Primer at Sephora, and have been  religiously using it ever since. I had heard great things about this product from my sister and from various reviews online, and needed to see how it worked for myself. After using this primer for several weeks, I think I have an understanding of how this product works, and hope that this review is helpful to those of you who are considering purchasing it!
