Grey Ruffle Sweater

There is nothing better than a New England Fall! From The beautiful foliage, to delicious cider donuts, New England is definitely one of the best  places to call home for October Break. Throughout the years, my family has made it a tradition to go apple picking when I visit, and this year was no different. Today, we took a drive to Apple Crest Farm Orchards in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire. We had such a great time, and we happened to catch a few pictures of my outfit along the way!

I have seen variations on this sweater everywhere, so when I saw it at Marshalls for 15 dollars, I had to pick it up. Although I hate linking clothes that aren’t exactly what I’m wearing, these options are so similar that I don’t feel as bad. If you’re like me, and you don’t like to wait, I have linked some similar options below. Of course, if you’re a normal person and want to  save yourself some money, keep your eye out at Marshalls, and you just might find it! IMG_2743

While wearing this grey ruffled sleeve sweater, I received several compliments, and stayed insanely warm during my time walking around on the orchard. This top is super comfortable, and can be worn with just about any pant. Of course, the ruffled sleeve and ruffles by the shoulder steal the show here! Below are some close-ups of the detailing.

In the above picture, I just wanted to point out that I have very broad shoulders. I always have, regardless of how much weight I’ve lost. I’m not pointing this out to beat myself up about it, but I am pointing it out for those of my readers who also have broad shoulders and would typically shy away from something like this that would draw attention to that area. I think this detailing makes my arm look slightly more dainty, and breaks up my shoulders.

The sleeves, as you can see, are a little long on me, but I love the dramatic effect it gives. I

I thought this top was very girly and chic, and wanted to contrast that a little with my jeans. I wore the Bebe ripped jeans that I have mentioned several times before, but any pair of ripped jeans would do if you’re trying to recreate this specific look. As for shoes, I wanted to wear a cute pair of heeled booties, but being home, my mom told me that they weren’t appropriate apple-picking shoes, and I put on my fave sneaker shoes my Calson. I think all of you are going to be impressed by my jewelry game lately! I have now been consisitantly wearing this plus sign  necklace that was gifted to me. Because it was gifted to me, I am usure on where to purchase this exact necklace, but will list an etsy link with similar options here. I love this necklace because regardless if this is the actual meaning behind it, I try to be a positive person at all times, and love having a reminder around my neck. As for bracelets, I have simplified my every day bracelets down to two, but will not bore you with a picture!
