Happy Monday, Ladies! I hope you all enjoyed your weekends and are ready for another fantastic week! This weekend was my sorority’s bid day, and I got a lot of comments from my friends and sisters about my tan. I have used this product for years and I thought that it was about time to do a review on The Saint Tropez Classic Bronzing Mousse!
I have an eerily vivid memory of my young self trying on shorts in The Children’s Place. My family was going on vacation to Disney World with my cousins, and my mom wanted to pick up a few new outfits for my sister and I before we left. I turned to my mother, and told her that my legs were too big for me to be wearing shorts. In this moment, my ignorance to body image was gone. Continue reading “Attaining a Positive Body Image”
A few weeks ago, I picked up the Becca Backlight Filter Face Primer at Sephora, and have been religiously using it ever since. I had heard great things about this product from my sister and from various reviews online, and needed to see how it worked for myself. After using this primer for several weeks, I think I have an understanding of how this product works, and hope that this review is helpful to those of you who are considering purchasing it! I used to want to be the girl who had it all together. I wanted to be the girl with a 4.0 GPA, who worked out every day, involved herself in 12 different clubs, and managed to look flawless while doing it all. Yes, I used to want to be that girl, but lately, I’ve been pretty damn proud of who I’ve actually been. Regardless of your grade level, you can be proud of the person you actually are too, and find the balance you’ve been searching for. Here’s how! Continue reading “Finding Balance”
Okay, okay, I know what you’re thinking, “It’s only September 4th, why on earth are you wearing a sweater?” Fall is just around the corner, people, and it has been pretty chilly here in North Carolina. I will admit, I was a little warm the day I wore this outfit, but I didn’t care all that much because I loved it, and it got me inspired. Hopefully, my post, along with the release of the PSL (you’re welcome), will help to get you as excited I am for the best season there is! Enjoy, ladies! Continue reading “Craving Fall”
Weight. It’s crazy that one little word could spark one million different conversations, opinions, and stories. There are people who are comfortable with their weight, people who struggle with their weight, and people who think of “weight” as just another word. Quite honestly, I have been through hell in the weight department, and I sometimes dread coming back to school, because I fear putting on a little bit of extra weight. This year is different, however, and I am about to tell you why. Continue reading “Low Calorie Snacks for College Students”
I used to think that long distance was stupid. I never understood why you’d want to try to make something work with someone when you never could see them anyway. I used to try to convince my friends that it was a bad idea to be with someone who didn’t live close by, until it happened to me. Continue reading “How to Survive Long Distance”
